Carpe Diem

Matthew 6:33-34But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Carpe Diem – Seize the Day.

Today, the sun crept up over the mountains and shone through a cloudless sky. My heart is full and drinking in the many memories already of fun, love and laughter. As a parent, I feel more like an observer than a participant only because our children love being with each other.

We are to be here for another six days and it will be over far too soon. I cannot look too far forward or waste time on things outside of what is happening right now. Just now, the grandkids are awake and very much alive. Time to shut down.

I just want to thank you Father, for experiences with the people close to me. Sieze your opportunities today. It may very well be you last chance.
