Revelation 5:12Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”

I have found that praise is not one of those things that comes naturally. Whether it is praise for a coworker or even a close friend or spouse. It does not come easy to a backslidden heart. It is not something that falls off the lips of a saved person who does not engage with God.

Praise flows from the heart of one who has known the attributes of the object. Not only do they know their attributes, but have been a recipient of their love and goodness; their mercy, grace and forgiveness. You cannot praise someone you do not know.

Praise flows from the overflow of a grateful heart. Gratitude comes from a sense of indebtedness, a realization of true giving or just sincere thanks for what has been given.

Praise finds the object worthy of what it is we say about them. Hard work, long hours, dedicated service, faithfulness or a job that went above and beyond; these are just some of the things we might find in someone worthy of our praise.

When you consider the supreme sacrifice of our Savior, the everlasting love He bestows; the all-encompassing forgiveness of every sin, you cannot help but fall to your knees and worship Him who is worthy!

I included this song to help your heart this morning. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9Czujx1LOc)
