Psalm 113:5-6 “Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!”
There is no god like our God!
The works of His hands are seen and known of all who would seek Him. Creation stands as a witness of the wonderful works of our God.
Psalm 19:1 “To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”
A man truly has no excuse for not acknowledging God for who He is:
Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
God has set His love upon us.
Psalm 91:14 “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.”
Many will try to demean or diminish the God of the Bible because of only one of His attributes. God has pure, holy, and righteous judgments, and even if we do not understand them or can reconcile them with what limited understanding we possess, that does not, nor should not, take away what we know of Him to be true.
Our God is holy. He commands us to be holy.
1 Peter 1:15-16 “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
God would not command us to do something impossible for us to accomplish. God knows that for us to be holy, we need Him to do so. He will not command that which He will not also enable us to do.
We are made in His likeness and image. No other creature in the universe has the attention of the Sovereign God like us. No other created being has such love shown as God’s love.
John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
If we, who name the name of Jesus Christ as our Savior lived as we are commanded, more of the world would see what true love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness are all about!
The testimony of those redeemed by the blood of the Lamb shines forth to those who thought it impossible that they would ever change. We must speak up and speak out.
Psalm 107:2 “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;”
If we who are saved, would give God the glory due His name; lift Him up in our everyday lives, the world would see more clearly His power and His presence among us.
If His children won’t tell, who will?
