Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
Some have made a living helping others cast a vision for their lives, their relationships, and their businesses. Others struggle because they fail to have a vision. A child of God has already had a vision cast for them by their Father.
Our loving, Heavenly Father saw our lives before we were ever created and ordained works for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Seeing our way clear in this life takes time to sort through the noise, clamor, and calamity of this world. Being able to quiet ourselves and commune with the One who created those works for us and then following His lead, becomes the key to what God already viewed as a successful life.
May we, as children of the Living God, seek Him first before stepping out into our day. Preparing our hearts to heart he Word of God. Cleansing our soul to receive His instructions, and then inviting Him to guide us along every step can prove far more fruitful than going about it our way.
May we truly desire His way above ours in all things – not just on the Lord’s Day.
