“Worship is the rising up to God from the heart of the believer., or from the Church, of his own thoughts about His beloved Son and what He has done.” – Source Unknown
“What we worship determines what we become.” – Harvey F. Ammerman
“Prayer is preoccupation with our needs. Thanksgiving is a preoccupation with our blessings. Worship is a preoccupation with God.” – A. P. Gibbs
Heavenly Father, may you aid us in quieting the noise of this life and focus on You. May we, through Your Son Jesus, be heard of You in the songs, the prayers, the fellowship, and the preaching of Your Word today as we gather.
May we take what we have heard and bring it home around our table. May we carry it to the workplace tomorrow, and speak often to our neighbors as we live out our daily life.
Thank You Father for the unspeakable gift of salvation!
