John 7:45-46 “Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.”
Never before and ever again will there be anyone like Jesus Christ.
He came to fulfill the will of the Father and redeem lost man unto Himself.
Luke 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
He came as a suffering servant, not a conquering king.
Philippians 2:6-8 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”
My question this morning is this:
“Has our Bible reading, prayer and devotions become more of a duty, a chore, or a ritual than a Spirit-filled time for us to converse with God?”
More than ever, we need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit of God to be led and guided of Him throughout our day. No lengthy commentary or extended musing dear reader. Just a challenge that we bring our God into even the smallest of activities.
May God truly bless you this weekend!
