Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Short and simple this morning.
We are told in God’s Word that all our needs will be supplied.
Why is it then that we pray for any need we may encounter? Do we not trust His Word? Are we without faith thinking God is able but believing that He may not? We are told:
Matthew 21:22 “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
Go on believing then.
Pray with boldness.
Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Pray with fervency.
James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”
See you in church!
